I seen this 1773 Virginia Colonial coin / token and I was instantly intrigued by it. It is from the state I reside in, so I asked my son to take a look at this 1773 Virginia Colonial coin / token to see if it is worth investing in. He gave it the nod, says it has great details even if it is currently covered in a grey looking sand.

Our goal will be to acquire this coin in hand. Then, soak it in distilled water for a period of time and rinse off any excess. I am hoping that there is not a lot of environmental damage (pitting) on the coin itself. I will see if we are able to post the recently purchased photos and later I can post the "now" photos a bit later.

This is what will arrive....
